Our ESG philosophy
A tree is a life. Trees sustain ecosystems, protect soil, provide shade and connect the wellbeing of people with the natural world. The Tree of Life expresses connection, growth and continuity across generations—rooted in the earth and reaching towards a longer horizon.
The Company’s environmental direction centres on planting and caring for trees, beginning in Mauritius and extending over time to Africa.

Planting a tree is a beginning. Caring for it gives that beginning the possibility of a lasting future.
Accountability over time
Public updates will describe authorised activity and its context. No planting totals, partners, expenditure, carbon offsets or achieved environmental results are claimed before they are verified and released.
Environmental action within a wider framework
The tree programme sits alongside the Company’s investment approach and governance responsibilities. It does not, by itself, establish an ESG certification or sustainable-investment classification for the portfolio.
